Another photo taken for my art project, for an observational drawing. Dunno what media to ues yet though. I'm halfway through painting 'luminosity' and I have quite a few other photos to choose from (all in all, from the two shoots i did, about 100 + pictures).


This one turned out the best, since my dad showed me how to turn the camera onto 'fine' instead of just normal halfway through snapping. This photography lark is quite fun! XD

A couple of people have asked me if I use a ' photography' camera. I just use the family digital cam. so no fancy SLR's for me.. waaay too expensive.

(taken by dripping water from the kitchen tap into a baking tray - reflections is from the window)

Its neat that you were able to capture this splash....its a cool thing to look at. Some cropping would improve the composition....the big space at the bottom with the lights and darks draw your eyes away from the main focus (the splash) and the weird reflection keeps my eyes swirling around that weird vortex-like shape. You might also want to up the contrast. The texture of the cooking pan is really neat, though....sparkly and pretty.

aye, i see what you mean XD I'll probably have to crop it anyway for my art project (no way am i drawing all those sparkly bits! :D) im surprised my cam could take this shot.. i kept having to turn it on and off to get it into decent focus.
